Membership Update November 2007

As of November 12, 2007, Post 758 has been credited with 159 of 216 members for its 2008 Membership Quota.  That’s 75% and the other 25% is more than possible.   Your renewal shows the powers-that-be at the Broome County level, that our post is making progress.   Not only do we need your renewal and those new members–the men and women of our Armed Forces who stand between us and our enemies need for us to renew and find new members, so places like Post 758 can be open for them when they get back. They aren’t letting us down; let’s not let them down.

Post Membership at 67%, October Report

As of October 8, 2007, Post 758 was credited with 143 memberships.  When counted against the quota of 216, this is a percentage of 67%.  This leaves us 73 members to go before we can reach the 100% goal (renewals, transfers, new members, etc.).  Stan Smith, our first vice, is getting back on his feet (literally) and will appreciate your speedy renewal, or recruitment of a new eligible member for our Post.  So too will our future members–because membership is the engine that drives the train.  It is that membership which will build a Post where those new members and their spouses will feel welcome and inspired to serve, and continue the Post 758 tradition, since 1921.

Membership Quota for Post 758: 216 in 2007-08

Our membership quota for membership year 2007-2008 is 216.  As of 9/10/2007, we had 50%.  Since our first vice, Stan Smith is recuperating, it would be a nice present for him, if we could get the rest of the quota achieved by November.  We can do this.  We need to do this, so our returning veterans have a Post and Post Home where they will feel welcome, and know that our members will not just welcome, but work with them now and in the future.
